New coaches bring experience and knowledge to IEFC Indiana Elite FC

We  would like to welcome two new coaches joining the club for the 2019-20 season, Ante Cop and Kim Crowe-Cop.
Coach Ante Cop From the south side of Chicago and of Croatian descent, Coach Ante Cop brings more than 20 years of coaching experience and over 30 years of playing experience to IEFC. A multiple-time, All-American in college, and veteran player in many professional leagues in the U.S. and abroad, Ante brings a vast array of soccer knowledge. A long-time friend of Coach Novi, Ante holds multiple high-level coaching licenses from numerous governing bodies in the U.S., and has served as head coach at the professional, high school, and club levels. His coaching credentials include United States Soccer Federation “A” License, United Soccer Coaches of America Premier Diploma, United Soccer Coaches of America Director of Coaching Diploma, United Soccer Coaches of America National Goalkeeper License, and United States Amateur Soccer Association National License. Ante has helped over 60 players earn college scholarships over the last five years and has helped many of those same players sign professional contracts in the U.S. and overseas. He has dedicated himself to helping youth soccer players give their best and move to the next level.

Coach Kim Crowe-Cop From the suburbs of Chicago, Coach Kim Crowe-Cop grew up in an area where women’s soccer was beginning to grow, gain attention, and move to the forefront of competitive play within the U.S. During this time, the NCAA Title IX law was passed which started many new collegiate-level women’s soccer programs. Kim was awarded a scholarship and given the opportunity to play for Butler University’s Women’s Soccer Program. As a founding member, Kim played three years as a starter and team captain, and won Defensive Player of the Year. After graduation, she joined the Butler Women’s Soccer staff as an Assistant Coach and helped the program win two conference championships.  Kim spent the next four years coaching with and competing against some of the top coaches in the country including staff from Notre Dame, Duke, University of North Carolina and University of Florida.   During this time, Kim began her club coaching career, starting as a youth-age group coach. She took part in winning two state titles, joined ODP programs in Illinois and Indiana, helped develop two club academy programs, and took part in developing hundreds of players, many of which have gone on to play at the collegiate, semi-pro and professional levels.  With more than 25 years of coaching at the collegiate, high school club, and ODP levels, she brings strong knowledge and experience to IEFC.   Both coaches will be getting to know our players during tryouts in June.  We welcome Coach Ante Cop and Coach Kim-Crowe Cop to Indiana Elite FC.
